Welcome to the chapter council resources page – a central location for information used to manage your chapter. We have included forms and information to help you with your chapter meetings and activities. Please suggest additional information you would like to have on this page.
As a reminder – all documents that constitute a contract or license application (i.e. your weekly meeting venue, a room rental, ABC licenses) must be signed by the CEO of NorBAR.
Chapters shall operate and function in accordance with the Policies and Procedures as established by the North Bay Association Board of Directors, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and the California Association of REALTORS®.
Chapter Councils will meet quarterly, at a minimum. Chapter Council meetings shall follow Robert’s Rules of Order. Meeting minutes must approved by the CEO prior to distribution.
Event Planning Form
Special Chapter Events should have an Event Planning Form completed for review by the Chapter Council. Once the Event has been approved, please forward a copy of the form to email@example.com for assistance with your event.
All events held in a non-NorBAR venue need an insurance rider. Please complete the attached application at least three weeks prior to your event and send it back to us so we can obtain additional insurance. We can complete this form for you if prefer.
A signed check request must be submitted for any payments required from the Chapter to venues, vendors, etc. Please submit at least two weeks prior to required payment date.
All contracts and permits for venues, caterers, golf courses, ABC Licenses, etc. must be signed by the CEO of NorBAR. If you have an event where any contracts or permits are required, please submit them for approval here.
California Alcohol Beverage Control Permit Applications
Any event where an admission is being charged and alcohol is served requires a daily permit – ABC 221. If you are having multiple pour points (such as a golf tournament) or if your are having an auction then each pour point or the location of the auction in the venue must be identified on the License Action Form with a map/floorplan of the venue where pouring/auctioning will occur. The venue owner will relinquish their ABC license for those areas the day of the event.
Auctions and raffles containing any alcohol require an additional ABC special license over and above the pour license.
